  Mathematics BSc (1959), Psycholgy BSc. (1973), Grad Cert, Tech based distributed learning (2006). Grad Cert, Teaching English as a Foreign Language (2016).
For 23 years, until 1993, worked for the BBC Open University, producing multimedia, video and audio in Mathematics, Science, Teacher Training. and Ed Media Design. Also, over 10 years, senior instructor in a three-month annual course for overseas producers on educational video. Published many papers on instructional media and instructional texts, plus a book, Designing video and multimedia for open and flexible learning, Routledge 2006, reprinted 2009.
Authored and taught a MOOC, in Jan-Feb 2017: “What and How to Teach with Video”

• Construction of 56 instructional TV programmes for English language learners in Turkey , Educational Media International 2013, Tailor & Francis.

Producer/writer of educational materials: audio, audiovision, video + supplementary print, CD-ROM
1970-1992, BBC Open University audiovisual producer: 90 audios and 110 videos plus print supplements on: maths, psychology, biochem, physics, computing, stats, ed media design. Lead Tutor on annual 3-month EDTV course over 10 years. 1975/6, one-year research secondment, as programme evaluator, with IET, Open University.
Face-to-face tuition to Open University Mathematics students at five Summer Schools.
1992 to date, Freelance: video with supplementary print, audiovision and CD-ROM on mathematics, use of audio, staff appraisal, geometric form in art/architecture, teacher training, English language (56 videos in Turkey).
