The five-year impact factor for ETR&D has risen to a new high - 1.522. The five-year impact factor is generally considered a strong indicator of the impact of articles published in the journal, especially when it is higher than the annually reported impact factor (1.155 for ETR&D), as this suggests that articles published in ETR&D have a lasting impact on the research community. Of the 219 journals reviewed, ETR&D was ranked 49th, which is quite good considering that journals with a broader scope and many more readers are included. ETR&D maintains its premiere ranking in the area of educational technology scholarly publications. ETR&D is receiving a record number of submissions from all over the world as a result. The editors greatly appreciate the work of the editorial boards and reviewers in helping to maintain the high quality of ETR&D.
